Trump Announces His Election Strategy by Testing GOP Loyalty and Honor

President Trump goes on to state on his Twitter feed that it is vital to know the results of the election on election night. Who wants to wait days, weeks, or months later to know the certified winner? Of course, Trump expects to win big on election night 2020. “Must know Election results on the night of the Election, not days, months, or even years later!” chided Trump.

Besides, Trump loves the American people, and he wants the people to get the most stimulus money as possible, even more than the Democrats.

It is through the election agenda that Trump is testing the loyalty of the Republican party who have majority control of the Senate. Trump knows that presidents do not have the authority to change the day of the election, which is on November 3, 2020, less than 100 days away.

Trump posted on his Twitter feed at 8:46 a.m. that “With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRADULENT Election in history. It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely, and safely vote???”

Remember the Date

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell lashed out at the absurdity of it all. In his home state of Kentucky, McConnell said on a radio station that you could not just change the date of the election. The date is in for all proverbial intents and purposes, “set in stone.” The date was established by Congress in 1845 through the Presidential Election Day Act.

The contentious democratic socialist presidential hopeful Senator Bernie Sanders, said “No, Mr. President. We’re not delaying the election.”

Voter Fraud

The White House issued a broad statement to avoid any confusion concerning the election. Trump is not actually demanding a change in the date of the election. The Democrats want states to allow widespread mail-in ballots for so-called voter safety.

Nevertheless, in-person voting is best since mail-in ballots can be exploited and wracked with fraud. Vote-by-mail ballots can become lost in the mail, damaged, and therefore, rendered invalid. It could take several days or even weeks to count all the ballots, and many people could forget to vote properly.

Case in point, it took New York weeks to declare a congressional winner after allowing mail-in voting. A presidential candidate could even demand a recount because of defective ballots, bringing delays to a new presidential inauguration.

The Obama Voting System

While Democrats call foul to the voter election system, Obama had a few words of his own. Obama wants to change the voting system, and he made his desires known at the funeral of the beloved figure, the civil rights leader John Lewis.

Tucker Carlson called the 44th president of the United States, “the sleaziest and most dishonest figures in the history of American politics,” after his politically charged eulogy for Democratic Representative John Lewis.

Obama is just “a greasy politician,” after he suggested that Congress legislate another Voting Rights Act to dispel the congressional filibuster. The current act is a just representation of the Jim Crow epoch which disenfranchises minority voting rights.

The Filibuster

Congress imposes the filibuster to pass legislation that requires 60 procedural votes. Otherwise, a simple majority could be imposed to require the passage of complex legislation. The filibuster had blocked prominent legislation during the march for civil rights.

Representative John Lewis had pursued changes to the Voting Rights Act during his lifetime. However, The U.S. Supreme Court struck down the heart of law in 2013, by permitting mostly nine red states in the South to go ahead and change the voter registration laws without any approval from the federal government.

Law and Order

Obama proceeded to use the funeral as a platform to denounce Trump’s disposition for law and order. Trump has sent federal agents to Portland, Oregon, and other cities to restore public order and protect federal government buildings from defacement. Mayors had been trying to control the situation with limited law enforcement.

Former President Barack Obama compared Trump’s authorization of limited force to the acts of Bull Conner, who was the public safety commissioner in Birmingham, Alabama. Bull Conner allowed his agents to use vicious dogs and fire hoses to detract demonstrators from the civil rights protests of the 1960s.

It is reckless to compare our present policing activities to the acts of Bull Conner. Nonetheless, “Obama doesn’t care,” said Carlson. He is only concerned about the November election.
